Where is it produced?

The Bulgarian premium muline VASCO is produced in the city of Kazanlak, which has traditions since 1931. We are honored and proud to be a part of this history.

What is the quality of VASCO?

VASCO Bulgarian mouline is made of 100% long-fiber Egyptian cotton of the highest quality. The threads are carbonated and mercerized with a quality certificate OEKO TEX Standard 100.

Why only 28 colors?

VASCO is specially designed for embroidering Bulgarian patterns - "shevitza". The palette was selected by Elisaveta Yordanova, the creator of the series of albums "Embroidery fairy tales" and chief designer of the magazine "Схеми на Шевици" ("Embroidery Patterns"). A good start to build on.

How thick is the thread?

The thread consists of 6-ply with excellent coverage. Depending on the size of the base on which you will embroider, as well as the stitch you will apply, a different number of threads is counted.
